It’s time to dust off your massage chair! Don’t leave this valuable tool in your closet—the Advanced Therapeutic Chair Massage course will teach you how to offer full-length, effective treatments anytime, anywhere, giving you additional earning potential.
Many massage therapists give up on chair work when they injure themselves trying to perform the necessary movements. There is a better way—the BodySaver Method™ . We apply Nayada’s innovative BodySaver techniques to the chair, teaching you to use proper positioning, body weight, momentum, and your body’s built-in Power Tools to protect your body and support your practice. Don’t bend over and strain your back to treat clients on the chair—we’ll show you the methods that work. By applying the Principles of Longevity, you can make the chair a worthwhile and profitable tool for your practice.
Many massage therapists think of the chair as a tool for a “preview” of their work. This course will enable you to give a 30 to 90 minute, head to toe, effective therapeutic treatment, including range of motion work—all without oils or the need for your clients to disrobe. You’ll learn all this and more in a course that truly deserves the title “advanced”, where you’ll be trained to give chair sessions that go above and beyond “15 minutes of relaxation”. Your chair will be transformed into a portable massage treatment center, allowing you to treat and impress your on-the-go clients. In this workshop we cover about 90 techniques in forward and upright position.
This course is accepted for CEUs with the following organizations:
- National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) 8 CEUs
- Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA) 8 CEUs
- As with all of our “hands on courses” the Pa. and NY Boards of Massage Therapy
