Instructor Beth Sack-Rogers developed this modality out of her personal needs and experience. Her daughter was diagnosed with ADHD while in elementary school. Beth has worked with psychologists in North Carolina and Tennessee and studied the effects of ADHD on students. The course discusses the needs of the client based not only on the physical limitations of ADHD, but also the emotional impact of the disease. During the course time there will be lecture on ADHD and the emotional effects on the clients, mapping of helpful reflex points on the feet and hands, and round table discussions about adding this modality to the therapist’s menu of services and marketing it. This is a 4 hour course usually used a an add-on to the reflexology program but can stand alone for therapist who are already using foot reflexology in their practice.
Presenter: Beth Sack-Rogers, LMT, RCR, has been teaching reflexology since 2008, and uses reflexology in her daily practice. She has developed reflexology techniques, specifically for use in children with ADHD, which have helped her clients and her own family. Beth’s classes in reflexology are multi-dimensional in approach.
Beth is certified in working with all family related touch therapies – pregnancy massage, post natal massage, and infant massage as well as children’s massage and reflexology.
